If you listen to your body when it whispers , you don’t have to hear it’s screams.
Do you check in with yourself and ask how you feel around certain people and certain interactions ?
Do they uplift you and make you feel good or do they drain you and leave feeling mis-understood, lost , hurt and confused about yourself ?
Pay attention to the red flags that your body shows you as anxiety ( palpitations , butterflies in your stomach , health issues etc ). They have a message for you and the message is to protect your peace and sanity and keep your distance from repetitive conflict , never ending drama, manipulation and covert abuse.
Your body will thank you when you respect these red flags and take action to prioritise your mental health and healing .
It doesn’t have to make sense to everyone and you need not keep justifying your life and your boundaries. Yes there will be grief ( for what you thought your relationships would be like ) and the pain of releasing the painful memories ( assuring your body that you are safe now and no more being covertly manipulated and traumatized).
Healing takes time .
Honour your body and your intuition.
It is there to save you.
